Hi, my name is Sarah Lacey and I’m a mum to two young boys. I am an Accredited NHS Psychotherapist and online Counsellor of 18 years but I am also an award winning Nutritionist.

With Nourish & Nurture I combine psychological coaching with practical nutrition coaching, I help you to change your relationship with food, fitness, and your body, so you never have to diet again.

As a Level 4 Nutrition Coach and BABCP Accredited CBT Practitioner I specialise in emotional regulation and helping women de-stress their way to weight loss. I show my clients how to successfully change habits and behaviours, develop mental resilience and combating self-sabotage.

Unlike many PTs and Nutrition coaches, I provide in depth support which goes far beyond weight management because I have the qualifications and experience to provide a specialised service to ensure you smash your goals!

In 2021 I was awarded Health & Fitness Entrepreneur of the Year (Northern Ireland).

In September 2022 I was awarded Nutritionist of the the Year by the Northern Ireland Health & Fitness Awards, a huge delight to see a small local business recognised for offering what no other PT or Nutritionist in the local area is qualified to do.

Delighted to announce that I have won Fitness & Nutrition Entrepreneur of the Year 2021, awarded by GHP News.

Nourish & Nurture N.I. was founded in February 2020 just before our first lockdown and in spite of a global pandemic, not to mention the common challenges for any new company, we have thrived and are going from strength to strength.

I’m so pleased my passion to support women to meet their health and wellbeing goals using CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness practices alongside bespoke Nutrition coaching has been recognised.

Nutritionist of the Year 2022

In September 2022 I was delighted to be selected as a finalist and then as a winner of the Nutritionist of the Year Award.

It was an absolute pleasure to be recognised for the work I love so much and to see my unique blend of coaching be recognised for enhancing the physical and mental health of women in Northern Ireland, UK and globally.

Nourish & Nurture has grown in so many ways since I founded in 2020. I am always looking for new ways to support and bring unrivalled value to my clients and online audience. Most recently I have created a 90 day self-paced course, the Food & Mood Freedom Academy. I have hosted seminars in other coaches’ communities and I regularly host in-person seminars on weight loss, well-being, mental health and much more.

The Nourish & Nurture Podcast

In my efforts to further add value and free coaching to followers and existing clients, I launched the Nourish & Nurture podcast in July 2023. I have guest-hosted on fellow coaches podcasts and enjoy collaborating with other health coaches. It is so important to collaborate with other coaches to share ideas and to learn from them and they me. In doing so this shared learning supercharges the effectiveness of the services I provide.

I enjoy sharing the amazing results from my Food & Mood Freedom Academy, the 90 day weight loss and well-being course which I created for busy, frazzled individuals who want to lose weight… and keep it off.

Weekly Q&As with my Team inform podcast content and visa versa, through which I can keep my finger on the pulse of consumer’s struggles and offer simple, effective solutions for those struggles.

In July 2023 I was shortlisted for and won Best Psychological & Nutrition Coach by the GHP Awards.

Having my coaching programmes and unique coaching approach recognised on a national level was very exciting, especially given that I manage all aspects of my business when other coaches have teams that they can rely on to help manage the design and delivery of coaching products.

Highly Commended Wellness Specialist 2023 by Health & Fitness Awards

In September 2023 I was awarded a High Commendation for the services that I provide through Nourish & Nurture in the Wellness Specialist category.

Receiving this recognition amongst other leading companies in the country, I was delighted and this has only further encouraged me to find now and innovative ways to bring my coaching to the masses. This is why I also now provide specialist nutrition, mindset and menopause coaching services to other coaching teams and I provide my expertise in the corporate sector for example Graham Construction.

Most recently, I was selected as a finalist in the Mighty Women N.I. Awards taking place in June 2024.

Being shortlisted due to client votes and testimonials is extremely touching and a reminder of the massive impact even small local businesses can have on the psychological, emotional and physical health of women in Northern Ireland, England and internationally.

I work with women to help them to lose weight by nourishing themselves physically AND emotionally. Helping them to learn about how to eat healthily as well as to change the self sabotage that impedes their weight loss and health goals.

Build confidence

If you're looking for a "quick fix, lose weight fast" type of diet, you're in the wrong place. I help women build confidence in what they eat, when they eat, how they eat, understand why they eat when they do. And to help them appreciate their body and to prioritise their own self-care.

Working with women to help them reach and maintain a healthy weight without extreme measures. To support them to regulate their emotions in healthy ways and to change unhelpful thoughts about eating. To help them reduce self-criticism and find food and mood freedom.
